There are many yet unanswered questions regarding the band and what it's members are now up to. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have so that we may post them accordingly.

We look forward to hearing from you.

LANE MORTENSEN - Dayton, Nevada

Q: Hello Bart, I was wondering how long exactly were you guys together, and have you ever thought of having a reunion concert or album?
Sincerely, Lane.

A: Lane, We were together from 1986(7) until about 1990. I, myself, would love to do a reunion and have contacted Glenn many times. I don't think he is interested in anything from the past. Perhaps if fans bug him, he'll cave. I'M GAME!!!

TIM BAKER - Roseville, California

S: I have spreading the word to my 40ish year old friends who were amazed I finally found the song and the band. This discovery completes many of our searches that complete our collections. I am so pleased! It is great to know when you've left a footprint! It would be great to perform this material again! I keep hoping someday!

The story is very interesting of the band, lots of issues that most people do not know about in the industry. As you know, I first heard MMOTM in 1990 on a station out of SA (KSAN or KOME) - I recorded it and other songs from a live broadcast but wrote down the group incorrectly - I have included the original cassette list. From 1990 until two weeks ago, I have been searching for that song and the band. I went from Berkeley (Amoeba, Rasputains, Tower) to Berlin (while serving in the military) in my search.

A: That's a lot of searching! I am honored! Tower used to carry us back when, but we could not find a distributor ...hence the 1,500 plus copies I have in my garage! LMAO!

Q: Anyway, a couple questions, how did the name Schneebezen come to be, any story behind this?

A: Yes. I used to hang out with a German family. We were in the kitchen and she was baking. She kept screaming at us for the "schneebezen" over and over. It turns out it is a wire whisk. You will see this pictured on the album cover. Because Depeche Mode had a European sounding name, me and Glenn thought Schneebezen would add that European mystique. As it turns out...it was too fricken hard for people to pronounce! LOL! But it worked.

Q: Have you though about including the words to the songs on the website?

A: I would love to! I simply don't have the time to type them out. If a fan feels like taking that on...this sure would be great (hint...hint)! There are some lyrics contained on the inner-sleeve of the record.

S: Thanks for your tremendous contribution to my and others musical lives!
